Portraits

Not the corporate headshot — the portrait. The one that looks like a whole person.

24 frames·Austin — studio, or wherever you're most yourself·Edited files in three business days

A firefighter by his truck, a dancer mid-turn, a grad flat on her back in a field of poppies. Portraits are where we stop cropping to the shoulders and let the room, the light, and the thing you love into the frame. Studio when you want it clean — but mostly we'd rather come to where you're already yourself: a stretch of Austin water, a downtown wall, the car you rebuilt.

Tell us who you are and where you feel most like it. That's where we'll shoot.

Start the conversation
A chef in an apron smiling in her restaurant kitchen.
A woman in a black hat and sleeveless top standing with her hands on her hips.
A woman in a blue floral puff-sleeve top standing with arms crossed outdoors.
An assistant fire chief standing in front of a fire truck.
Assistant chief.

A headshot says what you do. A portrait says who you are.

So we give it room — the light you like, a place that means something, and enough time that you stop posing and just show up.

A man in a purple shirt leaning on a black sports car with the Austin skyline behind him.
A young woman in a white dress standing in front of the colorful ATX letters sculpture.
A violinist playing outdoors beneath a live oak.
Between movements.
A woman leaning on a counter in her office, smiling at the camera.
A woman in a black dress at a railing above Lady Bird Lake at golden hour.
A woman leaning against a vintage black car outside a neon-lit cantina.

The best backdrop is the one that's already his.

Chapter 02

Out where the light is.

Off the seamless and into Austin — the water, the walls, the wide open.

A woman in a gold gown standing beside a palomino horse at sunset.
Gold, and a horse that held still for it.
A woman in a pink dress seated in a hanging rattan chair.
A woman in a green fringed top against a wall of golden bokeh.
A woman and a large poodle in front of the Willie Nelson mural.
A man in sunglasses and a plaid shirt holding a beer on a patio.
A young man in a tan work jacket and gold chain photographed on a street.
A person in glasses and a hood photographed in low-key light.
A man in a suit walking along a downtown sidewalk.
The best portraits aren't taken in the first five minutes. They're taken once you forget we're there.

A woman lying in a field of red poppies with her chin resting on her hand.
Graduation, somewhere in the poppies.
A woman in white seated on a stone bench outside an arched doorway.
A woman in a white outfit seated on a lawn with greenery behind her.
A paddleboarder kneeling on a board in green spring-fed water.
A woman in a floral dress standing on a dock by the water, holding flowers.

Let's make you the story.

Tell us who you are and where you'd want to be. A sentence is enough.
