Commercial Studio

The right room for the job, booked for the day.

19 frames·Partner studios — Austin and beyond·Photos in three business days

This gallery isn't about a subject, it's about control. Amigo Studio doesn't run one facility — we work with a network of commercial studios across Austin and the other markets we serve, and we book whichever room fits the brief. Seamless in whatever color the job needs, a painted backdrop, black, white, or height when the shot needs air. The space gets chosen after we know what the pictures are for, which is why a founder at nine, a portrait day at eleven and a family at four don't all have to happen in the same room.

Booking

Tell us who's coming and what the pictures are for. We match the room to the brief, then book it.

Man in a patterned white hoodie flexing one arm against a gray studio backdrop
Young woman in a black tee and denim shorts standing full length against a teal studio backdrop
Teal, because somebody asked for teal.

The room changes. The control doesn't.

A studio is not a look, it's a set of controls — light you decide on, a background you choose, nothing in the picture that arrived by accident. We pick the room that gives us the controls the job actually needs.

White seamless, and absolutely nothing to look at except each other.
One

What a backdrop is actually for.

Not to disappear. To decide how much of the frame belongs to the person and how much belongs to the color.

Bearded man in a white tee and jeans holding a skateboard against black seamless
Black seamless does one thing, and it does it completely.
Young woman in a white shirt photographed against a plain light studio background
Woman in a red camisole and dark jeans posed with a hand on her hip on gray seamless
Man in a black puffer jacket and beanie against a white studio background
Couple in black outerwear standing close together and smiling on white seamless
Two

Portrait day.

A whole roster through one room in a morning — same light, same height, same distance, so they line up on a wall or a website afterwards.

One morning, one roomFrames 10–13
Girl in a black and white striped top and pink trousers on white seamless
Young boy in a patterned hooded top smiling on white seamless
Young boy in a bright printed shirt with both arms raised above his head on white seamless
Girl in a floral vest and shorts standing on white seamless
Small child in a floral top making peace signs with both hands and pulling a face on white seamless

The brief on a portrait day says consistent. It does not say identical, and the frame everybody actually wants is the one where somebody stopped cooperating.

Three

And the reason most people book a studio at all.

Something is about to change at home, and this is the week to photograph it properly rather than on a phone in the kitchen.

Pregnant woman in an open denim shirt and light trousers, hands resting on her bump, on gray seamless
Pregnant woman in a pink dress with both hands under her bump against a light studio background
Mother seated with her baby on her lap in front of a studio backdrop
Held still for exactly as long as this took.
Woman with a short bob in a sleeveless white blouse against a light studio background
Two women standing back to back, one smiling at the camera, on a light studio background
A studio doesn't make anyone look better. It just removes every excuse for why they didn't.

Book a studio day.

Tell us who's coming, how many, and what the pictures are for. We'll match the space, then quote a half-day, a full day, or a portrait day for everybody at once.
