General

One studio, and no house style to hide behind.

41 frames·Austin, Texas — and wherever the work goes

This is the short version of everything Amigo Studio does — a vintage Porsche on gravel, a boardroom lineup, a hospital wing from the air, a father meeting his son, a courthouse square in December. It is deliberately not an even sample of our eighty-two galleries. It is the forty-one frames that make the most sharply different arguments, so that whoever you are — a brand booking a launch, a dealership booking a car, a family booking the one Tuesday that will never happen again — you can find your own job somewhere in here.

Booking

Every frame here was made by this studio, on location, mostly within an hour of Austin.

Start the conversation

No house style to hide behind.

Most portfolios are built to prove a look. This one is built to prove a range — that the same team lights a Ferrari, a boardroom and a two-day-old baby, and gets all three right.

The aerial reel. Start here if you only have forty seconds.
Downtown Austin skyline seen from the air
Aerial view of modern glass office towers around a green courtyard
Booked on a Monday

The work that has to be right, not interesting.

A bearded man in a black suit standing with arms crossed against a gray studio backdrop.
A man in a dark green blazer and open white shirt smiling in a business headshot, the building behind him thrown out of focus
Young man in glasses and a graphic-print hooded sweatshirt with a gold chain, photographed against a stone building downtown
Company team in green branded shirts posed in rows outdoors with the Austin skyline behind them
Twenty-five people, one rooftop, eleven minutes. Nobody blinked in the keeper.
Large practice team in black scrubs and uniforms posed together on the steps outside a clinic

A remodel cut for broadcast. Video here is not a different department — it is the same crew, the same day, the same lighting call.

Welder in a mask cutting into a corroded component beneath a raised vehicle, sparks and torch glare lighting the underside
A rooftop terrace with flower arrangements overlooking Lady Bird Lake and the downtown Austin skyline at dusk.
An overhead spread of Asian dishes — pho, glazed wings, tacos, spring rolls and dipping sauces on a wooden table.
Then somebody hands you the keys

Cars are a different kind of portrait.

A blue Ferrari with yellow racing stripes photographed head-on at dusk.
A Porsche crest and hood stripes on a magenta car body, lit as a graphic close-up.
Two feet of bonnet, one crest, and the whole marque in it.
A close film-toned detail of a chrome Comet script badge on a purple car.
And the room is full

Brand work, with everybody watching.

A Visa and Red Bull Formula 1 show car lit in a dark warehouse.
A Visa and Cash App branded cooler truck stocked with product at an outdoor activation.
Matthew McConaughey in a white shirt outdoors, looking off camera at a Pantalones Tequila brand event.

Talent on a live activation. You get one pass, in whatever light the venue has, and it still has to look like the campaign.

A panel seated on stage in front of a large geometric SXSW 2024 screen, audience silhouetted in front.
Guests lining a long lit bar stocked with wine and cocktails at an evening corporate party.
We looked at four studios. Yours was the only one where the corporate work and the family work looked like they came out of the same head.

Nobody watching the clock

And then the work that is only about craft.

A model in a blue floral dress lying in a field of grass and red poppies, holding a wrapped bouquet of red roses.
An extreme close beauty portrait of a woman with green eyes, skin texture fully retained.
Retouched, and the skin texture survived. That is the entire argument.
Two flamenco dancers mid-turn in yellow and orange dresses on a red-lit stage.
Baseball players colliding at a base in a cloud of dust as an umpire watches
Graduates in stoles standing in the UT Austin fountain spraying champagne, the Tower behind them.
Nobody's business but yours

The days you only get once.

A father cradling his newborn and kissing the baby's head beside a high window.
Two days old. This is the frame the rest of the portfolio exists to earn.
A groom in a black cowboy hat kissing his bride, who holds a deep red and teal bouquet, beside a white clapboard wall.
A man on one knee proposing on the Pfluger pedestrian bridge, the downtown Austin skyline behind them.
A husband carrying his wife in his arms on a green lawn, both laughing.
A girl in a brightly embroidered white dress turning to camera in a field.
Expectant mother in a blue gown in a Texas wildflower field
A large family posed in front of a giant baubled Christmas tree outside a limestone courthouse.
A blue-eyed Australian shepherd puppy sitting square on a wooden deck.
Proof, close to home.

Every frame here is minutes from the next.

A visitor standing alone on the terrazzo star at the center of the Texas Capitol rotunda.
A woman with a labradoodle in front of a red mural carrying a Willie Nelson quote on South Congress.
A landscaped courtyard lit at blue hour with lawn games and orange planters.
A couple embracing in the middle of Congress Avenue at dusk, the Capitol dome lit at the end of the street.
Congress Avenue, wet, at the end of a Friday.

This is the edit. There is a great deal more.

Forty-one frames cannot cover eighty-two galleries and this one deliberately does not try. The directory lists every category and every Austin location we keep, with the frame count on each — go past the curation and look for your own thing.
