Blue Hole sits on the San Gabriel River at the edge of downtown Georgetown — a wide green pool under a limestone bluff, with lawn on one bank and rock on the other. It swims in summer and it photographs all year, and you can park in town and walk to it. Small, and one of the best-looking pieces of water in the metro.

Walkable from downtown Georgetown. Busy on a hot weekend, empty most other times.
